FRENCH LANGUAGE & ART

SESSION 1: Thur, Sept 24, Oct 1 and Oct 8, 2020 4:00 PM PT
Hosted live on Zoom, weekly French Language and Art classes to enrich your child's French language skills while creating art. These workshops are designed for BEGINNER French language learners.

  • Maximum of 10 students per class means plenty of one-on-one attention.
  • 40 minute sessions with engaging art activities designed to spark the imagination and enhance basic French language learning
  • Students will need to have access to a printer, laptop computer, WiFi, and zoom app to participate
  • Each leçon focuses on one French artist, one art technique and one language concept

Leçon 1: Henri Matisse / Paper Cuts / Language: Numbers 1 - 2
Leçon 2: Albert Uderzo / Cartoon Faces / Language: Comment ça va?
Leçon 3: Toulouse Lautrec / Dictionary Illustrations / Language: Articles
  • I will email activity sheets to be printed before each class.
  • Art materials needed:
    • regular photocopy paper
    • Hb pencil, pencil sharpener (optional)
    • eraser
    • scissors
    • watercolor paint trays, paintbrushes, plastic bucket with water and paper towels (Leçons 1 and 3)
    • fine and extra fine black sharpies (Leçons 2 and 3)
    • colored markers (Leçon 2)

Tuition: $60.00 includes 3 zoom French Language & Art classes.
